Jamie Getz is the gal behind the sewing machine. She lives in the pumpkin capital of the world, Morton, Illinois, where she and her husband are raising two active sons. By day she is a middle school math teacher which is probably why quilting became such a passion. Jamie loves designing quilt patterns by drawing symmetrical designs on graph paper and truly enjoys figuring out all of the math involved. She enjoys making quilts for her family to use and also to display as art on the walls. Jamie’s quilts are handmade using a variety of fabrics that are colorful and full of personality. Playing with fabrics and choosing which fabrics to place in a quilt is easily my favorite part of quilting.
All quilts displayed are self designed. If you are interested in more, please check out getzmade.co!
Jamie’s quilts will be on display through the end of December.
