After careful consideration, Morton Library is ending service with hoopla Digital effective October 2, 2026. Any materials you borrow up until October 1 will be available for the duration of the lending period.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. At Morton Library, we continually strive to offer the best possible services while responsibly managing public funds.

The hoopla platform is our most expensive digital product. Last year hoopla costs increased 23%, and now uses about half of our total materials budget. Despite this, digital checkouts make up only 15% of total circulation. After months of consideration, the Library Board decided to end service with hoopla.
