AMENDMENT TO THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT - Public Act 097-0609 Concerning Public Employee Compensation & Benefits. In accordance with Public Act 097-0609, a list of all employees whose total compensation package equals or exceeds $75,000 is available in the library’s business office. *Public Act 101-0504 requires IMRF employers that have a website to include a link to the IMRF Employer Cost and Participation Information web page. The business office is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Transparency in Coverage Machine Readable Files
The U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Labor and Treasury issued “Transparency in Coverage” (TiC) Final Rule in October 2020 to deliver on President Trump’s executive order - Improving Price and Quality Transparency in American Healthcare to Put Patients First. TiC is meant to put health care price information in the hands of consumers to empower them to make informed health care decisions, and to bring greater competition to the private health care industry. The first part of this law requires the public posting of the negotiated rates between the plan/issuer and in-network providers and the out-of-network allowed amounts in the form of machine-readable files.
