Top Moments of 2020
What a year 2020 has been! Despite its many challenging aspects, there are still many things we want to remember. From the inventory project to the community spirit we have witnessed to the innovation and flexibility of staff, this is a year to remember.
We began offering Book Valet Service in June and consider this a permanent service enhancement. Pick up available items on hold Monday-Saturday without leaving the comfort of your vehicle!
During the Library’s closure staff worked hard to provide programs and services virtually.
Each week you could find us at the Farmer’s Market with books to check out and craft kits to go.
Library staff volunteered at the Pumpkin Festival Drive Thru.
We welcomed Jaimie, our new Adult Services Manager.
Beginning in February, library staff inventoried all 97,000 items in our collection.
We pivoted to offer an online summer reading program and loved delivering yard signs to patrons.
We updated all Library procedures to safely reopen the building to the community in August 2020.
