Fourth Friday Returns
Fourth Fridays will return to the Morton this summer. On May 24, June 28, July 26 and August, businesses in Morton will open their doors between 5-8pm to encourage shopping, art perusing and mingling downtown. The Morton Public Library will host concerts in Hannah’s Reading Garden from 6:30-8pm as part of Fourth Fridays.
On May 24 the Library will host Nikbeats in Hannah’s Reading Garden. Attendees should bring blankets or lawn chair to enjoy the sounds from the 1960s British Beats era, and folk rock. The Station Food Truck and Sweet Girl Treats will be on hand to provide dinner or dessert!
Muse Gallery will be open at 71 E Queenwood Road to showcase artists as well. Lulu’s on Main, V Gallery, Used But Not Abused and Sucre Sweets and Socials will also be a part of Fourth Fridays.
“We’re looking forward to seeing people mix and mingle while enjoying art and music in downtown Morton this summer. This is a great community partnership to support the arts and local businesses,” said Library Director Alissa Williams.
