Holds Handoff is available to all patrons with restricted movement due to illness, accident, or disabling health conditions.
To use Holds Handoff, place items on hold from your online account. Once you receive a notice that your items are available, call us at 309-263-2200 to schedule your pickup.
When you arrive at the library ring the Holds Handoff doorbell and a staff member will deliver your holds to your vehicle.

If you or someone you know has a physical condition that prevents you from coming to the library, we will deliver items to your home. Service is offered at no charge to Morton Library cardholders.
Get started by filling out the form online , calling the library at (309)263-2200, or printing an application and returning it to the library in person or by mail.

The library has an extensive collection of books in large print, including both fiction and non-fiction titles. Additionally, all of our eBook libraries contain the ability to change font type and size for ease of viewing.
When even large print items are no longer an option, you can continue to enjoy reading with our Books on CD, Playaway, or eAudio materials.

The Talking Book and Braille Serviceis offered to any Illinois resident who is unable to read standard print material due to a permanent or temporary visual or physical disability. Materials are mailed to your home. Offered through the Illinois State Library and the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS)

A walker is located near the front door to aid library users who may need assistance getting around the library. Our building is ADA compliant and accessible to anyone with physical disabilities.
