Connecting people to books, resources, and technology; and providing opportunities for learning, collaboration, and enjoyment.
Our History:
Since 1922, we’ve provided access to books, computers and other resources to the Morton community. After a variety of locations downtown, we built our own building in 1982 that sits on the land of the former Morton Pottery. In 2018 we completely renovated our space and created a dedicated young adult area, consolidated and added 700 square feet to youth services, and gained an extra meeting room by relocating the Morton History Collection.
